Lesson Plan Overview

How to Submit Lessons:

  1. Transfer unit plans, lesson plans, and/or activities to a CD. Make sure that each plan has a "first page" with the following information:
    1. Title of unit/lesson/activity
    2. Type of teaching unit (lesson plan, unit plan, or activity)
    3. Grade level(s)
    4. Time frame
    5. Subject matter
    6. Teacher information (name, school, AAM affiliation, e-mail address)
    7. Lesson plan description (2-3 sentences)
  2. Mail CD(s), copyright permission forms, and consent forms (if applicable) to the AAM National Director at the address in the AAM Staff section of this web site.
  3. Include your institution's name, your AAM Director's name (if you are in an AAM program), and any comments that would be helpful to the evaluators.
  4. You will be notified regarding lesson plan acceptance. If a plan does not meet quality standards, you will be notified and given the opportunity to bring the plan to standard.
